With the continuing popularity of the elliptical machine, the traditional stepper has almost completely faded away. The Stairmaster brand name is still the most recognized brand when it comes to steppers. For 2009, Stairmaster is now only offering 2 steppers. One model is a traditional stepper with independent stepping action built for club use. The other is their patented Stepmill which offers a revolving staircase and could be considered one of the toughest workouts in the club.
