True treadmills have long been considered the premier treadmill company in the world. The have been making quality treadmills for over 30 years for both home and commercial settings. Their innovation has pushed the treadmill industry to what it is today. Some of these innovations include:
For 2010, True will continue to offer three tiers of treadmills. They will offer a "ES Series", "Z Series", and a "PS Series". The ES Series is their Excel series for those that seek top end looks and performance. The Z Series is their Classic Series which is the design that they have been producing for nearly the past 20 years. Most companies make a product and continue to change it throughout the years. Being that True has been very successful with their classic design, they decided to keep it going and just introduce a new series of treadmills. That new series of treadmills is the Performance Series. The Performance Series is described as beautifully rugged. This series has the same powerful components and smooth operation that they are known for. The machine is built on a commercial platform . However, the Performance Series is considered their value line. To minimize costs, the Performance Series has more of box beam frame unlike the ES series that has "curvy" hydroformed steel. The only sacrifice is looks. At Syracuse Fitness Store, we believe the Performance Series is the best packaged treadmill we have ever seen. The walking belt on the PS 300 is considered a orthopedic belt. The orthopedic belt is a little thicker of a walking belt that acts like a good pair of shoes. It provides a little more absorption and little more traction. Some people are opposed to ortho belts from a service standpoint because they are heavier than a normal belt. Using a heavier belt has to make other components in the machine work a little harder. Our take on Ortho belts, buy it if it feels good. The price of the belt is $200. |

| There are a few reasons to upgrade to the PS800 from the previous mentioned. The PS800 Treadmill includes an orthopedic belt and SOFT Select. SOFT Select is a feature where the user can adjust the cushioning to their preference. With a simply and easy adjustment, the user can adjust the cushioning to be firm or super soft. The PS800 also is backed by a 10 year warranty on all parts. Lastly, it is dressed up a little more with aluminum side rails. |

The EXCEL Series
The Excel series will consist of the 7.0 and 9.0. Both treadmills will come standard with an orthopedic belt. The Excel Series has spacious running area of 22" W x 60" L. All machines come equipped with Soft Select which allows you to adjust the amount of cushioning on the deck. This feature allows different people within the household chose their desired level of cushioning each time used. All machines include True's patented cushioning system "Soft System", ingenious HRC (Heart Rate Control) system, LCD Screens, Quick Keys, and Cooling Fans. |
