Lifecore is a relatively new player in the industry but has received a lot of attention in a very short time period. Three words to describe Lifecore would be Compact, Quality, and Value. Most notable of all their exercise equipment is that their machines are very compact in size. Typically, when a machine is smaller, that means less stability. However, by using quality components and engineering, their machines are very solid and smooth. Most attractive to the consumer is the price of their product. Lifecore offers two different styles of ellipticals. They offer rear drive elliptical machines, and center drive ellipticals. Both designs have a unique feel. One of their rear drive machines took the "Best Buy" award from Consumer Reprts and one of their Center Drive Machines was labeled a "Recommended Pick." In the February 2009 and February 2010 review of ellipticals in Consumer Reprts, the Lifecore 985VG elliptical took the best buy award. We are always honest with our customers to suggest that the best review is going to be trying the machine for yourself. All elliptical machines are designed differently and therefore feel differently. We agree with Consumer Reprts that the 985 offers excellent quality and features at a very aggressive price.
